Jack's treatment is going well and he is doing pretty good, all things considered. He does have to wear the collar of shame because he won't leave the side of his face alone. They're still not sure if the nerve damage on that side will heal. We'll see. But he does have a blink reflex and is starting to be able to chew solid food. All in all, he is in a much better place than he was last month, even with a funny haircut.
Emma's happy to be in the snow, she just doesn't look like it here because I was trying to get her to sit and she'd rather follow me down the driveway. We've got about 8-10 inches and more is on the way.
In late September, I had the large tree next to the house removed. See the large pile of mulch stuff in the below photo, to the left of the front walk? There used to be a really, really big tree there. Now there is this really strange phenomenon going on in my house. It's called sunlight in the dining room.
Spaz has reservations about the structural integrity of this wall. Or is it the wall that's holding him up? Maybe a little too much catnip for the Spaz Beau.
She also approves of the house. She misses her buddy Behr, though. She doesn't have any doggie friends in the neighborhood yet. But her friend Sasha has come over to visit several times already.
Tell Grandpa that Jack really likes the chair he built.
