I've new wooden blinds over my new door and a new hickory floor in the dining room, too.

Did a little cabinet demolition and now I have a dishwasher!

Here's what the new door looks like. I've not yet got new blinds for it; I'm making do with what was on the slider for now (four sliding sections).

Spaz has reservations about the structural integrity of this wall. Or is it the wall that's holding him up? Maybe a little too much catnip for the Spaz Beau.








I finally have a new door to replace the plywood, but I don't have a photo of it yet. We installed two replacement windows the same day. Spaz models them for you here. They are much warmer and more sound proof, which is nice, since Valley Rd. can be busy.

That all changed sometime after 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 4. Not much (materially) was taken, but it will be awhile before I can begin to feel okay, to feel safe in my own home again. But, I feel loved, oh, so loved. My friends, my family, my neighbors, have all been wonderful (Jamie most of all). Thank you all, for all of the prayers, all of the support. I am truly blessed.
